“ The Illy coffee for the cappuccino I ordered was smooth and sumptuous. Kudos to the barista! I ordered a baklava which was delicious—a delicate balance of filo, dates, honey and pistachio. I liked it so much I ordered two more to go, along with their chocolate baklava which I am eager to try at home. Clean shop, clean restroom. Nothing fancy here, and that's just fine by me. It's an unassuming, welcoming, intimate space with little nooks by the window and several little tables closely spaced. There was only one other person there just before 9 am. The vibe will be different, likely in a good way, at a busier time. Parallel parking on the nearest cross street is your best bet. It's attached to a restaurant, which I regret we had no time to visit. ”
“ Fresh and very delicious Baklava in a cozy and nice atmosphere. Will stop by again. Highly recommended if you are looking for a delicious Turkish Baklava. I would suggest Dolma to add Turkish coffee to their menu as well. ”
“ Consistent Illy coffee (espresso drinks only), never had a bad drink with it and the beans create such a smooth creamy coffee. The iced drink was made with a alcohol shaker as well which helped chill it without watering down the drink. The service was a bit slow but there was no one there so it didn't bother us. Place is inside another restaurant so the atmosphere was a bit odd and they desperately needed music. ”
“ I had a meeting here for a Spanish class. The instructor lived nearby and this is their favorite spot in Cleveland Park. It may seem slightly confusing where to sit if you just want coffee, but fortunately it was not crowded and we sat anywhere we wanted. The second floor is nice and quiet and offered as plenty of space and privacy to meet. I ended up trying a salad and a soup. I was very happy with both. I’m excited to try more and get dinner here soon. The staff, including the owner, were are very friendly and helpful. Another enjoyable find in Cleveland Park! ”
“ Beautiful place. Decoration is typical Uyghur and makes us remember KZ. ”
“ Here it is only listed as a coffee shop. It is both that and a sit-down Uyghur restaurant. You can get coffee and pastries at the counter, or sit down and order from the menu. Indoor and outdoor seating. Very tasty food; interesting new cuisine for me. Friendly service. ”
“ While returning from DC Zoo, I wanted to have some cold coffee and found this coffee shop (it also have a nice restaurant). Along with coffee they have a nice bakery section. I ordered cold White Chocolate Mocha and Almond Crossaint. Just loved the Crossaint, it has delicious filling inside and crunchy almond slices outside. The coffee was fine, but for me it was little too sweet. Also, the staffs were nice and swift. ”
